She’s like a nurturing flower
If you truly love her, admire her ftom afar;
Don’t you dare mess with her beauty
Caring for her becomes your moral duty.

For you the words were written
By your beauty, I was smitten
It was definitely the love bug
by which I was bitten;
The ink spilled itself onto the page
Framing lines on your beauty as I could gauge
Asking me to give them a writer’s stage;
But, it didn’t matter as you couldn’t read them
It was just another scribble from a writer’s pen
For till you don’t read my poems,they don’t become a gem.
Imperfections are what make you
Don’t ever think they break you;
Your so-called flaws are what make you unique
Please never indulge in self-critique;
Flip your views regarding beauty
Pleasing others is not your moral duty.
Facing the mirror
All I can see
are my wrongs and errors;
Acting as more of a smoke screen
Perfections are hidden
and imperfections are seen.
