The sun will again rise
Leaving you a little more wise;

LOVE STREAM
A love stream flows directly from your heart
And, you’re generous enough to let me borrow some of the love
But, I’ll make sure to return it to you later
Once the drought in my heart ends.
AlWAYS WITH YOU
I wish I could drink your tears
Leaving you with no pain to bear;
I wish I could catch all your fears
Leaving you with all kinds of magic
and only nice things to hear;
But,as of now,remember for anything and everything,
I’m always with you dear.
WISHFUL THINKING
For once, I wish to go back to my past
So that over the years, these feelings of regret did not last;
Wish I had the courage to confess
In front of everyone,my love I wanted to profess;
Wish I could express my feelings openly towards you
Maybe,just maybe,there wouldn’t be all these years of cries and rue;
I wish in all those times, I acted differently
We would have been alongside each other,loving unconditionally;
And,today,I wouldn’t be thinking wishfully.

Under your embrace,

I love the way how our love has blossomed,
at its own sweet pace;

anything life throws at us,I’m ready to brace;

For your love,I desperately waited
In the midst of it all,felt caged and gated;

Your love and affection,I never received;
Still to save our relationship,gave you chance after chance
Thinking,maybe one day,we’ll be doing our happy dance;
But,I should have realized sooner,that you are not the one for me
In your absence,I’ve rediscovered myself and am left to be;

LAUGHTER
Laughter is watching your favourite comedy shows
A way to escape from all your worries and lows;
Laughter is cracking a really silly joke
And, the only one laughing at it,till it makes you choke;
Laughter is seeing children playing with all of their favourite toys
Your face unknowingly filled with giggles and joy;
Laughter is simply just making merry
Watching reruns of an all time favourite-Tom and Jerry;
Laughter is playing and cuddling with your furry friend
Truly, all these moments are precious and Godsend;
Laughter is just plain happiness and moments of bliss
Surrounded by your loved ones,with lots of hugs, cuddles and sweet kisses;
These moments of laughter indeed make the belly ache
Leaving us with nothing,but beautiful memories to take.

Considering today is my birthday,I thought I’ll post about something which I love and my blog gravitates mostly towards……..poetry.
