You were stabbed on the heart
Like a piercing dart;
You were burning with rage and violence
But screaming in silence;
Wishing someone could hear you
Your tears went unnoticed like the morning dew;
Wondering if someone could soothe your pain
For once,without thinking of their personal gain.
You are my destiny
We are meant to stay together for infinity;
Between barriers of caste & class and so much enmity
The world has become a place of such insanity;
Where love is not tolerated and hate is spread with much intensity
Now,for staying together we have to pay a penalty;
When has loving someone become such a felony?
You row your boat till you see the shore
It looks deceptively near,
But trust me you have to paddle more;
Panting,stressing you make it there
Thanking the Lord with a silent player.
All this has left your heart and soul a little bare
Looking for someone who will care;
From dusk to dawn, you are waiting for someone to arrive
Your time here is passing in strife.
Having realized that there’s no one who is going to come
You decide to take the big jump;
Taking the remains of your battered boat
You try to make something which stays afloat;
Embarking on a journey with a promise of no tomorrow
I know your mind is tensed and heart full of sorrow.
Somehow going forward with all your might
You suddenly spot a spark of light;
Waving signals,shouting and some more panting
Finally,on a boat and resting.
The past few days seemed all a blur
Nights going sleepless,hearing strange noises and murmurs;
Taking you a while to recover from what was your dream journey
Thanking people who saved you and gave you another day bright and sunny.
Remember the lessons which you’ve received
Life is not all what you perceived;
It can sometimes get upside down
But with good people around,
You’ll surely be able to make a touch down.
Silence is calling me to places
which I otherwise,would never ever see;
At first, I liked it
because I was left to be;
But,now I can’t wait to unleash myself
like the waves of a bright blue sea.
Flowers seem to be blooming
Memories still looming;
The days might be sunny and breezy
But this season of my life is anything but easy;
Like the fresh start spring brings by
Even I want my life to be as smooth as a lullaby;
I hope you are listening spring
And not lost in the sweet song that the birds sing;
I beckon you to show me the right direction
Leave it on you for my resurrection.
You are the one that amazes me
Sits in silence but chases me;
If I wander too far
You’ll bring me back;
This time not in silence
But,by playing my favourite soundtrack.
Having earned all the riches and money
I had this epiphany;
It doesn’t matter how much is your pelf
What truly matters is how you love
others and your own true self;
Once you realize this,there’s no looking back
Rest assured,your life is on the right track.
Not all those who wander are lost
Some are just looking for answers
which were never taught;
They’ll be back home
sooner than you realize
Only to be leaving for another sunrise;
For its beauty,they were mesmerized.
You seem to have a sense of entitlement
And,if you don’t get what you want
you are full of resentment;
Be grateful for what you have
Burst your ego bubble asap;
Count your blessings and be thankful
Doing this,you’ll attract all things good and plentiful;
The world doesn’t owe anything to you
The faster you realize this,the better for you.
You and I in this beautiful world
walking hand in hand
on the beaches covered in sand;
overcoming all the hardships
with our solid friendship.
Acting as your support
I’ll be cheering you on;
as you take the plunge
at the creek of dawn.
If I see you falter or stumble at any sight
I’ll hold you tight;
Will do all that I can in my might
Fret not,I’ll just be a call away at night.
So,go follow your dream
And,I’ll make sure you never stop in-between;
Always remember whenever in need
