For you the words were written
By your beauty, I was smitten
It was definitely the love bug
by which I was bitten;
The ink spilled itself onto the page
Framing lines on your beauty as I could gauge
Asking me to give them a writer’s stage;
But, it didn’t matter as you couldn’t read them
It was just another scribble from a writer’s pen
For till you don’t read my poems,they don’t become a gem.
Recipe of a good relationship
Main ingredients –Communication,Trust,Love,Care&Compassion
Process
Add half a cup of communication to one-fourth cup of trust and mix it well.Now, add another one-fourth cup of care and compassion to it.Again,stir it all together gently. But,the most important step is to bake with love.Voila!!There you have it…… recipe for a great relationship.
Oh!!….and,don’t forget to sprinkle it with your favourite toppings;mine are kindness and empathy.
Hope is all that is left
Under the rug,the tears are swept;
Wish those who hurt us realize their mistake
And,love gives us a second chance like another movie take.
Don’t hate
It’s nothing great;
Try love
And,be a dove;
Sending the message of peace
For war and violence to cease.
I was a beach girl
You were a mountain guy;
Somehow our paths met,souls set
but ultimately we left;
Now, I am a mountain girl
And,you are a beach boy.
You make love seem so easy
But people say it’s full of misery;
I’m tempted to take the plunge with you
Then,keep hearing people’s point of view;
Alright,I’ve decided to bid my apprehensions and worries adieu
Our love is going to overcome everything through and through.
When we met,there was a spark
On my heart,you left a mark;
I hope our paths cross again
Otherwise,thinking about you,I’ll go insane;
I wonder if you felt the same way
Though we had nothing much to say;
Still,I wish you find me someday
So,that we can spend the rest of our lives together every single day.
Your love has started to smother me
Somehow,it has started to bother me;
You have forgotten the promises you made
Trusting you blindly is the price I paid.
Your warmth and care has started to evaporate
I worry it will make our paths separate;
I’m trying to hold on to the last pieces
of compassion and trust;
Without you making any effort
it’s going to dissipate in the air like dust.
Oh my darling,before it’s too late
let’s mend our indifferences;
Can we live happily together again
by ending our sufferances?
I want to take you to places you’ve never been
In our journey of life,
My shoulders are always there for you to lean;
Trust me when I say this
Having you by my side is pure bliss;
Together,we’ll go through all the ups and downs
The journey may be long and sometimes tiring,
But,I’ll make sure you never frown;
Let us enjoy each and every pit stop along the way
As nights move to days;
In the end,when we reach our final destination
All we’ll have are memories full of love and elation.

Like a piercing dart;
You were burning with rage and violence
But screaming in silence;
Wishing someone could hear you
Your tears went unnoticed like the morning dew;
Wondering if someone could soothe your pain
For once,without thinking of their personal gain.
